Precision is also essential in the manufacture of the pistons
1. Broaching
Holes are bored precisely in six locations on each of the three pistons.
2. Brazing process
Tubes which will serve as three distinct pathways for air are brazed into the holes in the piston tube.
3. Precision grinding process
The outer diameter of the brazed tube is then ground to an accurate cylindrical shape.
