How the Saxophone is Made
Assembly, finishing, and, at last, complete!
The previously soldered bell and bow, the body, and the neck are each lacquered, and after the keys and other parts are assembled, they are gathered here for final assembly.
Final adjustments prior to completion
Just before completion of the saxophone, each key is checked, and screw-drivers and other tools are used to make any final adjustments. Now it is complete!
Strict quality inspection before shipping
The air-leak test checks for leaks, a strobe tuner is used to adjust the pitch, and other functional tests are performed before the final performance test and shipping.
