How the Saxophone is Made
Making the bell
Made from a single metal sheet
Before welding, the bell is shaped like a fan. The edges of that single brass sheet are brought together and welded, and the welded part is put through a machine called a seam roller to make it smooth.

Hammering
The basic shape of the bell is created by hammering with a wooden hammer. (Custom models)
