Tokyo Big Sight just before the opening of Tokyo Motor Show. Yamaha Motor and the other brands are putting the finishing touches on their booths. This peek behind the scenes for the setup reveals a unique atmosphere never experienced by visitors. The booths and fixtures are bursting with the energy to be released when doors are opened. Amid the chaos, the finished products and concept models glitter like gems, exhibiting an ephemeral contrast that amplifies the inherent purity of the two blue-and-white concept models.

Yamaha Motor unveiled several concept models at their booth at Tokyo Motor Show 2015. One was the PES2, an electric road-going sportbike that expresses a clean, silent worldview with its white body and blue accents. Opposite the sportbike and rendered in the same colors was the SVC210, Yamaha’s Silent Cello™. The similarities and differences of these products highlighted the breadth of diversity and sensitivity of the “two Yamahas.
