Showcasing “Upcycling Guitar” at the Milan Design Week 2026
Yamaha Corporation is excited to announce its participation in the world’s largest design event, Milan Design Week, taking place in Milan, Italy, from April 20 to 26, 2026.
The “Upcycling Guitar” was created as part of Yamaha’s efforts to explore new possibilities for musical instruments by repurposing unused materials—such as leftover scraps and offcuts—generated during the instrument-making process. At the event, we will be showcasing two prototype models designed through this initiative. We hope this exhibition will provide an opportunity to connect with visitors and facilitate thoughtful discussions about the new value and future potential of musical instruments.
