"key for you"

More than a thousand people have come to see the exhibition in little more than a day, since it opened on the afternoon of April 15. As they enter the courtyard from the main street, visitors are greeted by a musical performance featuring digital drums and a Silent Violin.
Moving from the courtyard to the interior, they then encounter a piano which is played continuously. The sound draws in a great number of people, who we think enjoy both our proposals for advanced design in keyboards and the relaxed, musical surroundings.

This prototype was designed around the image of a first gift to a child. As the smallest of the prototypes in the exhibition, many visitors thought that “key as gift” was "cute." Some remarked on how pleased they were to see full-blown functionality included in a child's instrument, while others commented on the emphasis this model placed on material textures.

We have received comments like "not mp3 player, but music everywhere," and "this is portable, which means it fits right into my life." It would appear that we have been able to transmit our desire for people to be able to play music any place, any time.

A number of people, particularly musicians, felt a connection with the open, guitar-like construction of this instrument, commenting on how good it looked and how they wanted one for themselves. The first display guests encounter at "key for you" is the white wall of "key in cantilever," a symbolic prototype that redefines the essence of an electronic piano. Featuring a simple combination of two slabs of synthetic marble and a recessing top that slides back to reveal a piano keyboard, "key in cantilever" was thought beautiful by many of those that came to the exhibition. We have received numerous comments from people who said that they had been looking for a simple white piano like “key in cantilever,” suitable for modern interiors.

When the performer began to play, all the visitors sat down wherever they wish on the white benches to enjoy the music. In that instant design lost its identity as a form, and become a medium for communication between people through music. That was exactly the "space" we were looking for.
