Celebrating Culture Through Music: Yamaha India and MSST Present Indian Classical Keyboard Concert
Our Message
Music is more than melody—it’s a force that nurtures creativity, discipline, and teamwork. By bringing students together in harmony, we strengthen community bonds and celebrate cultural heritage.
On October 2nd, 2025, the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Hall in Chennai resonated with the soulful notes of Indian Classical music. In celebration of Gandhi Jayanti, MSST Trust brought together 30 young keyboard students for a mesmerizing ensemble performance that captivated an audience of over 400 people.
A Celebration of Unity and Culture
This was more than a concert—it was a powerful statement about the role of music in fostering unity and cultural pride. Supported by Yamaha Music India, the event featured an exclusive product showcase and a creative selfie stand, turning the occasion into an immersive experience for families and music enthusiasts alike.
Why We Do This
At the heart of this initiative is Yamaha’s commitment to empowering young musicians and fostering a love for Indian Classical music. Through collaborations like this, Yamaha creates platforms where students can showcase their talent, build confidence, and experience the joy of performing together. This event continues Yamaha’s legacy of impactful contributions to music education, following milestones such as the record-setting “Stop Child Labour” campaign in 2023, where 445 musicians performed in harmony.
The Impact
Yamaha’s involvement sparked remarkable engagement and enthusiasm. Enrollment inquiries for music classes doubled, with 30 new students expressing interest. Families became active participants, proudly sharing their children’s achievements on social media. Adding to the excitement, Yamaha’s creative selfie stand became a centerpiece for emotional connection, amplifying the brand’s presence across WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram.
Looking ahead, Yamaha is driving bold plans for the future: in May 2026, the brand is preparing a large-scale keyboard performance initiative involving hundreds of participants, followed by a spectacular SX Series keyboard concert in Chennai in November 2026. These initiatives underscore Yamaha’s vision to inspire communities and set new benchmarks in music education and performance.
