Notice of Liquidation of U.S. Subsidiary

Yamaha Corporation (hereinafter "Yamaha" or the "Company") announces that it has decided to dissolve Yamaha Unified Communications, Inc. (hereinafter "YUC," Representative: Sotaro Nishida; Location: Massachusetts, U.S.A.; wholly owned by the Company), a subsidiary that sells conferencing system equipment in the United States.

YUC, formerly Revolabs, Inc. established in 2005, was acquired by the Company in 2014 and changed its name to YUC in 2018. YUC has been involved in the sales of conferencing system equipment in the United States, but due to changes in the market environment, Yamaha has decided to liquidate the subsidiary. Going forward, sales of conferencing system equipment in the United States will be handled by Yamaha Corporation of America. The decision to liquidate YUC is expected to result in an increase in consolidated net profit of approximately \2.5 billion due to the application of tax effect accounting and other factors.
