A one-handed recorder developed for those who struggle to play with both hands.
Much trial and error in remodeling piccolo keys onto a wooden recorder resulted in the full range being playable by just one hand.
With a lineup featuring soprano and alto for either hand, over five thousand have been produced. Winner of Good Design Shizuoka's universal design award (a prefectural governor's award) in 2001.
