Hiraku Okumura, of the Research and Development Division, has been invited to give a presentation on “High-reality audio and higher order ambisonics technology” at the Special Session of the 2024 Autumn Meeting of the Acoustical Society of Japan, to be held at Kansai University.

Title of presentation : Application of higher-order ambisonics technology at Yamaha Corporation
Summary of presentation : At Yamaha, higher-order ambisonics technology is used for various purposes, including the production of content for exhibits and the creation of a system to evaluate the sensitivity of musical instruments. This presentation will introduce examples of the use of this technology.
