Personnel here work closely with Yamaha’s development and business divisions to leverage the distinctive local characteristics of our cluster of factories in the area, and engage in initiatives that combine craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. It is adjacent to Yamaha’s corporate museum, where people can interact with actual instruments and products to experience the company’s history and values for themselves, paving the way for future innovations.

This office is located within Yokohama Symphostage. Capitalizing on its location in Greater Tokyo, this office explores design while interacting with the leading edges of society, culture, and technology. It is adjacent to Yamaha’s experiential store in Yokohama Minatomirai, which offers customer touchpoints that garner insights to incorporate into design operations.

Located within Yamaha’s subsidiary on the West Coast of the USA, this office is a center for researching Yamaha design from a global perspective. Through research with collaborators around the world and collaboration with Yamaha’s locations in Japan, this office boosts Yamaha’s overall design capabilities and helps create products and experiences that resonate with users worldwide.
