Since we are a corporate organization, research for us means research and development to create new products. Our research units are R&D centers and such. They cover a wide range, from the various technologies that support our core in sound and music to electronic technology and new materials for semiconductors. However, they share the same goal of opening up new business opportunities. This means you can take responsibility for the ideas you research and develop all the way into the real world as they take shape as products.
Yamaha allows anyone employed for less than one year to apply as a "new graduate," even those who have already graduated or have some work experience. Also, there are no age limits.
We do take applications from international students regardless of nationality.
Almost all of our sites have introduced a flextime system. Besides a core period, working hours are decided on a monthly basis. Employees take responsibility for managing their own work hours, depending on the job.
