Olivia Dean
UK singer-songwriter Olivia Dean does not only have an incredibly soulful voice but also an unbelievable talent to write captivating, self-confident songs. After participating in Yamaha’s House of Talents, and becoming Amazon’s Music Breakthrough Artist 2021, she is currently working on her debut album, to be released late this year. In her International Women’s Day profile, Olivia highlights her aim to surround herself with a strong female team and the importance to trust one’s instincts.

Jara, Rapper, Artist, Hoodjabi & Jack of All Trades. Jara is one of the first Saudi female rappers and her versatility as an artist is seen through her being able to rap in different languages, accents and genres. Besides music, Jara is also pursuing multiple academic endeavours, a combination that builds the basis for her message on International Women’s Day: “You don’t have to limit yourself to only one thing, why pick just one when you can do it all.”

Senri Kawaguchi
Born in Japan and starting to play the drums at the age of five, Senri Kawaguchi has expanded her career globally, having been selected as one of the top drummers in the world and her YouTube videos amassing over 40 million views. Drumming helps Senri to feel more open and to connect with people, enabling a way to express herself authentically through music. For her, the joy of music is being able to have your own style and sound. On International Women's Day, she expresses the importance of appreciating each musician with their sound and music, independent from gender.
