Editorial Policy
Our sustainability website is designed to facilitate deeper understanding of the Yamaha Group by a wide variety of stakeholders through the provision of information pertaining to the Group’s sustainability vision, policies, and initiatives.
The Yamaha Group is advancing initiatives for contributing to the realization of a sustainable society in accordance with the Yamaha Group Sustainability Policy. This policy was formulated based on the Group’s material sustainability issues, which were shaped by our commitment to contributing to the well-being of people around the world. In line with this pursuit, this website discloses information on our various initiatives as well as data pertaining to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics to help us build more trusting relationships with all of our stakeholders.
Organizational Scope of Reporting
In principle, this sustainability report covers Yamaha Group companies (Yamaha Corporation and its 55 consolidated subsidiaries in Japan and overseas). References to “Yamaha” or “the Group” in this report indicate the Yamaha Group. Certain sections of this report, however, require a more granular scope. In these cases, the scope is specified.
