Yamaha’s Sound xR Core Integrated Into the Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok

Hamamatsu, Japan ― Yamaha Corporation’s virtual spatial audio processing engine for earphones and headphones, the Sound xR Core, has been featured in the action RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok released by the video game publisher and developer Cygames, Inc. on July 9.

The Sound xR Core is a virtual spatial audio processing engine for earphones and headphones that enables interactive, high-fidelity sound localization and soundscape design within the application domain of xReality ― a collective term for VR/AR/MR/SR.

In the Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok, the Sound xR Core was selected for all supported hardware platforms ― Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam ― to deliver rich sound experience to all players using earphones or headphones and maximize immersion in the game.
