Yamaha Elevates Business and Education Communication to the Next Level
ADECIA and ProVisionaire Plan Updates Enhance Systems for Large Spaces and More
Yamaha Corporation announces significant updates to its ADECIA conferencing solution and its ProVisionaire Plan room planning tool, enabling users to create a natural, intelligible audio environment in large meeting rooms and training spaces - quickly and without specialized technical knowledge.
The improvements greatly simplify setup and operation, reducing the workload for IT managers and administrative departments. By combining high-quality audio with user-friendly, intelligent management, all participants can enjoy seamless, more productive communication.
As hybrid meetings and discussion-based learning environments become more widespread in both business and education, clear audio in larger spaces has become increasingly important. Yamaha's Voice Lift technology naturally amplifies speech, ensuring voices are heard clearly from any position in the room. This enables inclusive, stress-free discussions in classrooms and conference spaces alike.
The new Automatic Voice Lift Configuration feature further streamlines system deployment, by automatically optimizing device selection and audio settings, based on the size and layout of the room. This not only improves the user experience, it also significantly reduces the setup time and workload for those in charge of system operation.*1
With ADECIA firmware version 3.0, conversations are also significantly clearer and less affected by noise, thanks to the new AI De-Noiser. This advanced proprietary technology operates without the need for external software or a PC, effectively removing both constant background noise, such as air conditioning, and random sounds like typing or rustling paper. The result is a cleaner, more focused audio experience that reduces listener fatigue and improves engagement.
In addition, the ADECIA system can now automatically mix and manage up to 64 Yamaha RM-W series wireless microphones with a single RM-CR processor. This enhancement allows for flexible deployment in large-scale meetings, training sessions and hybrid environments, without the need to overhaul existing infrastructure.*2
The update also strengthens administrative features for IT teams. These include remote battery monitoring, error notifications and access control, which help to prevent disruption during meetings. Enhanced security protocols, including SNMP and IEEE 802.1X authentication, ensure secure network operation and minimize the risk of unauthorized access or data leaks. When combined with Yamaha's SWR2311P-10G, SWX2210P-10G or SWX2310P-28GT network switches, even large and complex systems can be centrally managed via a web-based GUI. This significantly reduces the burden of system management, ensuring consistent, reliable meeting environments and stable, efficient operation for administrators.
With these enhancements, Yamaha significantly reduces the setup and operational burden for IT and facilities teams, while delivering a seamless, high quality audio experience for system users. The updates also support diverse communication styles - from in-person to remote and hybrid - helping to deliver smooth collaboration across a wide range of work and learning environments.
"ADECIA firmware V3.0 and the ProVisionaire Plan update offer enhancements that support the evolving needs of the communications market, marking a significant leap forward for conferencing and education systems," says Thomas Hemery, Senior General Manager of Yamaha Corporation's Professional Solutions Division.
"As well as improving workflow efficiency, Yamaha draws on its extensive expertise in acoustics and spatial design to deliver enhanced audio experiences. As the needs of organizations and schools evolve, we are committed to delivering flexible, future-ready audio solutions to support smooth communications for all businesses and educational institutions."
ADECIA Firmware V3.0 and the updated ProVisionaire Plan will be introduced at the US InfoComm 2025 show in June and will be available as free updates from October 2025.
