Aimed at intermediate players, the PROTO FX-TP featured Yamaha-unique TP (thermo-plastic) frame material on all surfaces.
Vibration is absorbed throughout the racket, giving it a gentle hitting feel, and minimizing the effect on hands and elbows.
It was 15 percent lighter than the FX-TP released in 1994, allowing even players who lack power to enjoy playing.
