Award-winning jazz pianist Tamir Hendelman sits down with our own Tom Zink for a musical interview including wonderful performances, entertaining stories, and an inside look at Tamir's approach to some popular jazz standards.
Born in Israel, Tamir's family moved to the U.S when he was 12, and he quickly found his place in the top-tier of the jazz scene, having performed with Barbra Streisand, Natalie Cole, James Moody, Tierney Sutton, Gladys Knight, John Pizzarelli and Quincy Jones, just to name a few. He has been a member of the Jeff Hamilton Trio and Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra since the early 2000s.
