Spencer Day

Festival of Arts
650 Laguna Canyon Rd
Laguna Beach, CA 92651

Festival of Arts is an annual, summer-long celebration held in Laguna Beach that encourages the appreciation, study, and performance of the arts. The live musical performances during the festival deliver memorable moments that bring attendees to their feet.

We are pleased to present this rebroadcast of Spencer Day. Day has wandered amid the expansive and diverse landscape of American music, developing an artistic sensibility that borrows from numerous sources: jazz, musical theater, cabaret, soul, folk, traditional and contemporary pop. Day uses intuition and improvisation as his primary tools to craft a sound that is familiar, yet fresh and innovative at the same time.

Day’s Vagabond album peaked at #11 on the Billboard charts and stayed there for 47 weeks. The lead single, “Til You Come To Me,” peaked at #3 on the chart. His album, Daybreak, debuted at #1 on the Itunes Jazz Charts. Spencer’s single, “72 and Sunny,” marked his debut on the Mediabase Adult Contemporary chart where it had been for12 weeks.

This performance was originally recorded on July 26, 2018, at Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach, CA.
