Troy Laureta's Biography

Troy Laureta is an award-winning Filipino-American musical director, keyboardist and producer based in Los Angeles, California. Raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Laureta moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to further pursue his musical career. He attended Hollywood's Musician's Institute, graduating with a focus in musical production and audio engineering. His first major projects include working with Disney artists and reality show singers from American Idol and The Voice. His musical style is often compared to producer David Foster, who mentored Laureta, while working for pop singer, Charice. Laureta's arrangements and production in the studio, as well as live, are known for its lush sound, which combines his church upbringing and classical training with contemporary pop music. He has worked with numerous artists such as Deborah Cox, Ariana Grande, Melanie Fiona, Cheesa, Tommy Page and Iggy Azalea to name a few. His diverse roster showcases Laureta's versatility and musical capabilities in a wide range of genres. In addition to being a musical director and keyboardist in the industry, Laureta has made a name for himself as a producer, working under his production company, The Assembly Entertainment.
