Yamaha Provides Gear to The Ellen DeGeneres Show

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 25, 2008) — Yamaha Corporate Artist Affairs, Inc. recently provided a C2S piano to the internationally syndicated talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show. As of Feb. 22, a Yamaha C2S Conservatory Classic Collection Grand Piano is the official piano of choice for visiting musicians.

Ellen DeGeneres, a stand-up comedian and actress is the host of the Emmy Award-winning talk show, which features interviews with celebrities, comedic monologues, audience participation games, and music performances.

The show, distributed by Warner Brothers Television, premiered on Sept. 8, 2003. It was nominated for 11 Daytime Emmy Awards its first season, winning four, including Best Talk Show. The second year, it won six Emmys, including Best Talk Show Host and again, Best Talk Show.

Ellen is known for a variety of comedic segments, including "Ellen, Is That You?" "Look At You!" "Celebrity Look-a-Like," "Call Me," and "Audience Dancing."
