Loraine Faina's Biography

Originally from upstate New York, Loraine Faina is currently on tour with Peabo Bryson. She has been awarded a Masters of Music Education from Florida International University in 1998 and earned her Bachelors at Oswego State University in New York. Loraine is an endorser of both Yamaha Drums and Zildjian Cymbals. She is a recipient of many honors for outstanding musical achievements including the Sisters in Jazz collegiate competition. Loraine has performed with many musical legends such as Arturo Sandoval, Clark Terry, Nat Addrely, Dr. Billy Taylor, Don Menza, Nestor Torres, Antonio Hart, Mike Vax, Regina Belle & Roberta Flack. Loraine is aggressively pursuing her career as a drummer with aspirations of forming her own group.

Professional Performance Experience: Performed with Arturo Snadoval, Paquito D'Rivera, Nestor Torres, Clark Terry, Don Menza, Nat Adderley,Antonio Hart, Rob Bargad,Gary Campbell, Nicky Orta, Mike Orta, Mike Gerber, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Dennis Noday and Ira Sullivan. Currently on tour with Peabo Bryson.
