Andy Hubbard's Biography

Andy Hubbard, originally from Dillon, SC, graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1991 with a degree in Music Performance, Cum Laude, studying with Jim Hall. In 1992 he moved to Nashville, TN and began a career in music, which led him to major touring, performing live across the US and abroad, as well as many recording session dates in and around Nashville area studios. Andy has performed live with such artists as Little Big Town, Sugarland, Lindsay Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac, John Mellencamp, Kenny Loggins, Ricky Skaggs, Natalie Grant, Fernando Ortega, Gordon Kennedy, Whiteheart, and Matthew Perryman Jones.

His studio credits include Grammy winners Jars of Clay, Ron Block (of Alison Krauss & Union Station), Susan Ashton, Kristen Hall, No Other Name, Fernando Ortega, and Matthew Perryman Jones, as well as countless Indie artists and other great musicians in and around the thriving Indie and mainstream music scene Nashville offers.

Currently, Andy endorses Yamaha Drums, Zildjian Cymbals, Remo Drumheads, and Regal Tip Drumsticks. Most recently, Andy has added songwriting and producing to his list of credits. He continues to reside in Nashville with his wife Jen and their first child, Nash.
