Andy Rowley's Biography

Andy Rowley is one of the founding members of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Together with his band mates of over twenty years, they have performed more than 2,500 shows around the world, including all 50 U.S. states and 20 different countries; numerous television appearances including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O'Brian, and Dancing With The Stars; performed for three of the last four U.S. presidents; and have been invited as special guests with many of the great American symphony orchestras including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and the National Symphony Orchestra, to name a few. They have also been featured in many international Jazz festivals including the North Sea, Umbria, Pori, and Playboy Jazz Festivals.

Andy and the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy Horns have made music education part of the band's legacy by supporting and sponsoring music and arts education programs within their own communities. They have also co-sponsored national high school band competitions and continue to bring their enthusiasm to a new generation of aspiring musicians throughout the education community.

Andy is also an avid photographer and graphic designer whose work can be seen in some of the bands videos, media, and promotional materials.
