Pianists from around the world converged in Fairbanks to compete in the prestigious 2018 Alaska International Piano-e-Competition for more than $65,000 in prizes. Each of the final three performers chose a piano concerto from standard repertoire and performed with the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra.

This program features Timur Mustakimov (Russia) performing Beethoven’s “Concerto No. 5 in E-Flat Major, Op. 73, (Emperor)”; Su Yeon Kim (South Korea) performing Rachmininoff’s “Rhapsody on a Theme By Paganini, Op. 43”; and KaJeng Wong (Hong Kong) performing Beethoven’s “Concerto No. 3 in C Minor, Op. 37.”

Following the individual performances, witness the rebroadcast of the competition's awards ceremony.
