Guitarist Marty Ashby and trumpet master Sean Jones came together to perform a holiday jazz celebration program that was broadcast live to DisklavierTV viewers. Accompanied by a full 17-piece band, this performance features classics, new twists on your holiday favorites, as well as other special surprises.

Ashby, a musician and producer, has performed as a guitarist with many of the greats and has produced over 2,000 concerts and 40 recordings on the MCG Jazz Label. Jones, one of the leading jazz artists today, has an impressive resume of collaborations as well, including performances with Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, and Marcus Miller. In addition, saxophonist and arranger Mike Tomaro joins the band, premiering several new arrangements.

This performance was originally recorded and broadcast live on December 21, 2013, from Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, AZ.
