The music and lyrics of Bill Cantos have been recorded by artists spanning the worlds of pop, jazz, theater, gospel, and world music.
He also has a deep love for Brazilian music and has worked extensively with some of Brazil’s best-known artists. He also performs regularly with Burt Bacharach as keyboardist and featured vocalist and was a backing vocalist on three world tours with Phil Collins. Talented keyboardist, singer/songwriter, arranger, and producer Cantos has toured and/or recorded with legendary artists, including Phil Collins, Barry Manilow, Bob Dylan, Rita Coolidge, and Elton John, to name a few. Bill has recorded six solo CDs; the most recent Love Wins: New Standards for the New Millennium is a collection of original songs written in the style of classic jazz standards.
For this special performance, Cantos (piano, vocals) is accompanied by Abe Laboriel on bass, Michael Shapiro on drums, and special guest Mari Falcone.
