Steven Dubin's Biography

At an early age, Steven founded the band SPACES, a fusion band signed to ARISTA by Clive Davis himself. In 1986 he moved to LA and worked with a myriad of pop and urban artists, writing, creating and producing songs for Robbie Nevil, Eddie Money, Darryl Hall, Kenny Loggins, Karen Wheeler, Wendy Moten, Five Star, Darlene Love, The Ojays, Go West, The Fixx, Najee, Maysa, and Mick Jaggar.





Steven has mixed and remixed songs for LL Cool J, MC Hammer, Joe Cocker, Aerosmith, Chico DeBarge, Rod Stewart, Ralph Tresvant, and Randy Crawford.





Since 1996, Steven has focused primarily on new adult contemporary and urban adult artists, and has had 15 number one records on the new adult contemporary chart as a producer/writer. He has worked with artists such as Patti Austin, Al Jarreau, George Benson, Richard Elliot, Peter White, Tom Scott, Bob James, and Jeff Lorber. Steven was nominated for a 2005 Pop Instrumental Album of the Year Grammy for Jeff Lorber's Flipside, which he produced and co-wrote.
