Forever Plaid
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 22, 2009) Forever Plaid, one of Off-Broadway's most popular and critically acclaimed musicals, will return for one night, July 9, not to the stage, but to the big screen! In Forever Plaid, singers of a '50s quartet named The Plaids get to fulfill their life-long dreams of performing all their favorite tunes at a dinner theater.

Not only did the movie feature a Yamaha piano, but YCAA is providing a C7S grand piano for the very special premiere, which will take place at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. Immediately following the screening, The Plaids will perform several numbers never sung before in the show, and they will lead the audience in a sing-along of several of the favorite songs to the piano's accompaniment. The sing-along will be sent via satellite to approximately 400 AMC, Cinemark and REGAL theaters across the country.

Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, Forever Plaid has been the #1 Off-Broadway show for two decades, generating over $300 million in ticket sales.
