Denis DiBlasio's Biography

Denis DiBlasio has been a Yamaha Performing Artist and clinician for over 35 years, traveling worldwide to perform, teach and work with young and up-and-coming musicians. Always spreading the positive gifts of music, he inspires young players in composition, arranging, improvisation, ensemble playing, soloing and more. A consummate story teller, DiBlasio directs the Composition and Jazz Studies Programs at Rowan University.

As a frequent YouTube presence, DiBlasio has posted insightful stories, positive descriptions of his favorite jazz education materials and educational clips addressing various aspects of jazz improvisation. His presentations are assessable and easy to follow, making him a sought-after clinician.
