Brian Luce, Professor of Flute at The University of Arizona, has given recitals and master classes throughout the U.S. and United Kingdom. He has played with orchestras in Texas, Pennsylvania, and Illinois including the Dallas Chamber Orchestra, Dallas Bach Society, Dallas Wind Symphony, and Champaign-Urbana Symphony. Mr. Luce has appeared at the Atlanta, Dallas, Las Vegas, and San Diego NFA conventions, and numerous regional music festivals. His award winning research on music from the former Soviet Union has led to performances, commissions, and premieres of these neglected composers and their works. He holds doctoral and masters degrees in flute performance from the University of North Texas, where his teachers included Mary Karen Clardy, Kathleen Chastain and Jacob Berg. A Yamaha Artist, Brian has played Yamaha flute since 1996.
