Contestants in 2015 Giorgos Thymis Piano Competition Overwhelmingly Choose Yamaha

An overwhelming majority of contestants in the 2015 Giorgos Thymis Piano Competition, which concluded on January 16th, opted for the Yamaha CFX as their instrument of choice. The first round found 26 out of 32 (81%) playing Yamaha, while 10 of 12 (83%) played the CFX during the second round. The finals featured all three pianists on the CFX. Top prizes were awarded to Danylo Saienko of the Ukraine (First Prize), Michael Davidov of Spain (Second Prize) and Daniel Seng of Germany (Third Prize).
