Yamaha Showcases Field-Master Drum™ Cases for All Marching Drums at Winter NAMM 2010
Constructed of High-Density Molded Plastic Featuring Quick Release Latches, Heavy-Duty Straps and Hardware Offering Players Maximum Durability
ANAHEIM, Calif.— Yamaha Corporation of America, Band & Orchestral Division, will show its Field-Master™ Drum Cases (PCH) for all marching drums at Winter NAMM 2010. Perfect for professionals, percussion ensembles and schools, the drum cases replace the popular DA models.

The Field-Master Drum Cases are constructed of high-density molded plastic featuring quick release latches, heavy-duty straps and hardware for maximum durability. Heat, cold and moisture resistant, these lightweight cases are backed by a 10-year warranty. Featuring padded metal handles, the new drum cases also offer heavy duty parachute webbing with YKK latches and a rugged, heavy duty roto-molded PE in mar-resistant black. The cases' short size allows an easier range of movement for competitive indoor marching ensembles.

"Drums and percussion instruments seem to be overlooked when it comes to care and maintenance; At Yamaha we take it very seriously," said Troy Wollwage, Marketing Manager, Yamaha Percussion. "Cases, covers and maintenance must be a part of any schools regimen in order to keep these instruments looking and sounding great for years to come. We redesigned our cases to make the walls thicker with latches and handles that stand up do the daily rigors of percussion instruments."

The Field-Master Drum Cases will be available in February 2010.
