The new practice pads are manufactured in two sizes: the 9-inch PP-280 and the 11-inch PP-380. Both units are single-sided and feature a tight snare sound. An upgrade from the standard PP-250 and PP-350, the topsides feature a thinner, strong and durable 1/8-eighth inch gum rubber and Mylar laminate combination to simulate the feel and response of a marching drum.

Ideal for beginners and advanced drummers, the new practice pads are made with patented snare element technology, designed to achieve a tighter, ultra-crisp sounding snare.

"Yamaha's Field-Corps snare practice pads offer great quality at an affordable price," says Ted Kuehnert, marketing manager, Yamaha Accessories. "Drummers looking for size options and a practice pad with an emphasis on the marching snare drum can find these qualities in Yamaha's new pads."
