How can I stop content playback?
Press and hold on the Music commander for two seconds or more. You can also use in the “Zone” screen when the Music Player is selected as a target zone. In addition, you can stop playback on all Music Players and turn off all zones of the network receivers at once by using the “All Stop” function.
Is there any quick way to browse contents in the Music Commander’s menu screen?
You can switch display items page by page by tracing the right edge of the control pad up and down with your finger.
Can I play back video contents stored in my iPod?
No, the MusicCAST2 products do not support video playback.
Can I deliver music contents stored in a USB memory device or an iPod connected to a Music Player via a network?
No, you cannot deliver those music contents via a network. You can playback those music contents only on the Music Player which the USB memory device or iPod is directly connected.
Does the MusicCAST2 system support the Bluetooth AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile)?
No, it does not.
Can I play back copyright-protected music contents on the MusicCAST2 system?
You can play back Windows Media Digital Rights Management (WMDRM) protected content on the MusicCAST2 system if you use Windows Media Player 11 as a DLNA server. When using the TwonkyMedia server, you cannot play back the copyright-protected contents on the MusicCAST2 system. As for music files purchased from the iTunes Music Store, you can play back unprotected contents only.
Can I browse Internet Radio, Flicker or YouTube contents if I configure the “Media Feeds” setting of the TwonkyMedia server?
The MusicCAST2 system does not support this feature. However, you may be able to browse some of those contents if you have configured the “Media Feeds” setting.
Network connections
How many zones can I control from the Music Commander?
You can control up to 32 zones from the Music Commander. For a network receiver, each zone is counted individually (e.g. 3 zones for RX-V3900).
How can I switch between the wired and wireless connections of a Music Player?
When a Music Player is connected to the network using a network cable, the wired connection is always prioritized. When the network cable is disconnected, a wireless connection between the Music Player and your access point (WiFi router) will be automatically established if the WiFi settings of the Music Player have been configured. In case the wireless connection cannot be automatically established, turn off and on the Music Player.

How can I disable the MAC address filter function?
Once you set the MAC filter setting on a Music Player, you cannot disable the MAC address filter function with usual operations. Carry out one of the following procedures to disable it.
If you reset all the Music Player settings, all the parameters you have set on the Music Player will be cleared.
Others
Are the MusicCAST2 products water resistant?
No, they are not. Never use or install the products in moist conditions such as a bathroom.
Can I substitute a commercially available AC adapter for the supplied one?
No. Make sure you use the AC adapters supplied with the product.
Will an alarm stop automatically?
Yes, an alarm will automatically turn off in 50 minutes even if you do not stop it.
Can I adjust the volume level of alarm sounds?
You cannot adjust the volume level of alarm sounds individually. It will be turned up or down as you adjust the volume level of content playback.
How many learning remote control key codes can the Music Commander store?
The Music Commander can store about 70 learning codes (total number of key codes learned in “Remote Control” and “Amp Control”) at maximum. If it gets run out of space, you need to delete unnecessary learning codes. These functions are for MCX-P200 only.
Is it possible to learn remote control codes from the supplied IR flashers connected to the Music Player (MCX-P200)?
It may be difficult because the emission of the supplied IR flashers is not enough for signal reading. Use a commercially available IR flasher that has the higher emission intensity or a pin cable to connect the Music Player (MCX-P200) and your remote control directly.
