Amplifier control settings (for MCX-P200)
By configuring the remote control key codes in the “Amp Control” settings, you can control the amplifier connected to the Music Player in conjunction with Music Player operations. The amplifier works as follows when a remote control signal is received from the IR flasher.
Adjust the volume level of the amplifier by operating the VOLUME keys on the Music Commander or Music Player (when “Audio Out” is set to “Fixed”).
Turn on/off the audio mute of the amplifier by operating the MUTE key on the Music Commander or Music Player (when “Audio Out” is set to “Fixed”).
Power on the amplifier when the Music Player is selected as a target zone.
Power off the amplifier when the sleep timer works on the Music Player.
Apply wakeup macro operations (sequence of commands) to the amplifier when the Music Player is selected as a target zone. This feature automatically powers on the amplifier and switches the input source of the amplifier (to select the Music Player as an input source).

If your remote control has a power button which toggles power on and off, do not configure key codes for powering on and off. If you configure these key codes, the wakeup macro feature may wrongly power on or off the amplifier every time you select an input source on the Music Commander. In case this problem happens, perform one of the following procedures:
Select [Manual Setup] - [Wake Up Macro] and then set the step “Power On feature” is programmed currently to “—(None)”.
Reset all the “Client” settings of the selected Music Player to factory default. For details, click here. (Note: this operation also clears other “Client” settings.)
