Innovation Road Concert (a remote piano concert and YouTube live streaming event) goes ahead

Welcoming pianist and YouTuber Yomii as a guest, Innovation Road will hold a remote concert on Thursday, January 12, 2023, including a performance with reproducing piano Disklavier.
Yomii’s performance at our museum will be streamed live on YouTube (no archiving) and reproduced almost in real time on a Disklavier in Yamaha Ginza Studio (Ginza, Tokyo). Enjoy Yomii’s rich sound and beautifully arranged performances, delivered from our museum with displays of wide-ranging pianos.

Yomii (composer, pianist, YouTuber)
Born 1997, Yomii’s two YouTube channels boast over 2.5 million subscribers, and over 850 million views.
The song he composed for the first time at 15 won him an award in the Taiko-no-Tatsujin National Competition theme song competition as the youngest winner ever.
Applying his improvisational skills, he has been a technical performer and advisor of Yamaha’s AI Ensemble System since 2016, going on Zepp Tour in 2022 across Japan using the system that was a tremendous success.
Recently he created buzz succeeding two straight times in the blindfolded piano performance challenge on the TBS variety show “Kamiwaza Challenge.“ He is today’s most popular multi-instrumentalist in Japan, with records such as receiving the grand prize in the pianist division of “The player that we want to recommend most“ chosen by the staff of musical instrument stores across Japan and their customers.
