The branched pipe structure produces the acoustic characteristics of conical wind instruments like saxophones within the cylindrical pipe, achieving a wider sound with a compact body size.
The meandering shape allows for narrower gaps between the sound holes, making them easier to cover with the fingers, and a simple structure with fewer keys.
The result is an instrument easy to play even for wind instrument beginners, with the easy fingering like a recorder. Winner of the Good Design Grand Award in 2017.
