YHR-801

In response to a request from one of the world's finest orchestras, the Vienna Philharmonic, Yamaha created the YHR-801X Vienna horn to stand alongside the Vienna key rotary trumpet, trombone, and Viennese oboe.
The development of these instruments led the Vienna Philharmonic to send a letter thanking Yamaha for preserving their traditional sound.
The Vienna Horn is a single F horn distinguished by double-cylinder piston valves called Vienna valves, as opposed to the rotary valve horns of today.
