PortaSound PS-2Portable Keyboard / 1980
A high-end PS-1 with a 37-key mini-keyboard, equipped with the same functions as the PS-1 in addition to the innovative Auto Bass Chord function.
The PS-1 can only produce rhythm patterns, but the PS-2 also provides a bassline. The player can select the bass chord by pressing the root note in the left most octave of the keyboard. The player can also call up a seventh chord by pressing the root and the next half-step down simultaneously, and a minor chord by pressing the root and the next whole step down.
