The CLP-990 brought the Clavinova line as close as possible to the sound and feel of a grand piano, featuring the world’s first 88-key sampled sounds and a large sample memory that offered beautiful sound, as well as the first wooden keyboard to be used on a Clavinova.
This model was sold as the CWP-1 in Japan.
