The first-generation model in the CVP Series, which combined pianos with electronics to provide even more ways to enjoy music.
This instrument debuted the Piano ABC (Auto Bass Chord) function, the precursor of the highly regarded Automatic Accompaniment function still included in the current CVP Series, and also features the ROM Music function, which introduced new ways to enjoy music by enabling users to call up their favorite songs and play with the backing of an orchestra.
This model also marked the debut of the Guide function that guides players through songs by lighting up which keys to play next.
