  chorus  
  1) A delay effect that simulates a vocal chorus (or doubling) by adding several delays with a short amount of feedback and a medium amount of depth.
2) An effect created in some synthesizers by detuning (slightly reducing the pitch) of a sound, and mixing it with a duplicate of that sound which has normal tuning.
3) A part of a song that is repeated and usually has the same music and lyrics each time; the chorus will usually give the point or focus of the song.
4) A musical singing group that has many singers.
