CD Digital Video
DVD Players equipped with CD Digital Video capabilities will be able to play video and sound media that has been compressed together and recorded onto a CD disc.
CD Text Display
Get information about the CD currently playing right on the CD player’s display. The 3-mode text display shows the CD’s title, the artists name and the title of the track.
CD-R, CD-RW Playback
More and more people these days are using their computers or digital recorders to make their own CD-R and CD-RW discs. Yamaha CD players and changers are capable of playing these discs.
DLNA Technology
DLNA certification ensures a device has been tested and proven compatible with various CE, PC and mobile devices designed according to the DLNA Interoperability Guidelines. Products certified by DLNA will bear a logo that will give consumers peace of mind that the device they are purchasing has undergone rigorous testing and conforms to the Interoperability Guidelines.
DVD Video
DVD is essentially a large capacity optical video storage media that contains movies or other video content for home entertainment. DVD has become the standard for video publishing by most movie and video studios.
DVD-Audio
DVD-Audio is an extension of the highly popular DVD format, distinguished by its capability to deliver high quality multi-channel audio capability previously unavailable in traditional packaged audio media.
High Dynamic Power
Yamaha amplifiers are capable of delivering large amounts of reserve power for accurate reproduction of high energy peaks. This emphasizes the music’s dynamic qualities and provides a sharper sound image.
Intelligent Digital Servo System
This system uses a microcomputer to monitor the signal, adjusting pickup tracking and focus, as well as spindle motor speed, to compensate for errors caused by disc defects, warpage, dust and so on.
JAVA
The Java Powered logo means the device or application you have has passed our rigorous tests and it is safe to use. So, when you see the Java Powered logo, you can expect a fun, engaging, interactive experience that Java technology delivers!
Linear Damping
This circuit cancels the effect of level variations, maintaining a high, stable damping factor, for superior articulation of all sounds and better frequency response.

Watch TV episodes & movies instantly streamed from Netflix over the Internet directly to your Yamaha connected product. Watch as often as you want, anytime you want. High speed Internet connection and Netflix membership package that includes streaming are required and sold separately.
Network Receiver
Yamaha Network Receivers get you connected to the vast music content available anywhere on your LAN and on the web. Connecting the Network Receiver to a broadband Internet connection provides the ability to listen to any of the thousands of stations available on Internet radio (MP3 and/or WMA depending on your receiver). You can also listen to music content (MP3, WMA and WAV) that is being shared on your home network from a PC using Windows Media Player 11 or higher.

(1 gigabyte (GB) = 1 billion bytes)
Super Audio CD
DVD Players that support Super Audio CD use a technology called Direct Stream Digital (DSD) to convert music into a digital signal that can be stored on a disc. Compared to the traditional PCM method (the technology used for CD), DSD offers a much higher resolution by following more closely the original waveform of music. With a frequency response of over 100kHz and a dynamic range over 120dB across the audible frequency range – some 64 times higher resolution then CD - Super Audio CD offers music reproduction that reveals details you just can’t hear on a normal CD.
ToP-ART
When processing and transmission of the audio signal is simple and direct there is less chance of it being affected by noise and distortion. Yamaha’s amplifier design technology called ToP-ART features I/O (input to output) Direct Symmetrical Design, with left and right channels organized in a straight, symmetrical layout for highest signal purity.
VRS Technology

WiFi Certified
The Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ program was launched in March 2000. It provides a widely-recognized designation of interoperability and quality, and it helps to ensure that Wi-Fi enabled products deliver the best user experience. The Wi-Fi Alliance has completed more than 5,000 product certifications to date, encouraging the expanded use of Wi-Fi products and services in new and established markets.
WiFi Protected Setup
Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ is an optional certification program from the Wi-Fi Alliance that is designed to ease the task of setting up and configuring security on wireless local area networks. Introduced by the Wi-Fi Alliance in early 2007, the program provides an industry-wide set of network setup solutions for homes and small office (SOHO) environments.

Wi-Fi Protected Setup enables typical users who possess little understanding of traditional Wi-Fi configuration and security settings to automatically configure new wireless networks, add new devices and enable security. More than 200 products have been Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ for Wi-Fi Protected Setup since the program was launched in January 2007.
