Q.
The MusicCAST server is turned off automatically.
A.
If there is no key operation, no recording, no playback, no encoding and no data distribution to a MusicCAST client within approximately 30 minutes, the MusicCAST server goes into the LAN standby mode automatically, regardless of the standby mode settings.

Q.
The MusicCAST client is turned off automatically.
A.
It should be normal. Here are some reasons:
- If there is no key operation and no playback within approximately 30 minutes, the MusicCAST client turns to sleep mode automatically.
- Someone carried out sleep operation in the 'Client Playback' menu on the server.
- Client off timer on the server became active.

Q.
When I turn on MusicCAST client, sometimes it doesn't allow me to choose a song for a while.
A.
It is normal. If the server was in the LAN standby mode, it takes a few minutes to "wake up".

Q.
When can I turn off the MusicCAST server?
A.
You should turn off the MusicCAST server when it is in any standby mode.
When you press the STANDBY/ON button to turn it to any standby mode, all the client status LEDs are lit up for a while and then turn off. If all blue status LEDs are lit up, the MusicCAST server isn't in a standby mode. If they are turned off, the MusicCAST server is in a standby mode. And then you can turn off the MusicCAST server.
NOTE: If the firmware version of the server is 0.86.10a or before, the client status LEDs aren't lit up for a while and turn off when you press the STANDBY/ON button. In this case, wait 10 second after pressing STANDBY/ON, and then turn off the MusicCAST server.

Q.

I turn the MusicCAST server to "system off mode", but it is still distributing music data to MusicCAST clients.
A.
Press and hold the STANDBY/ON key for about 2 seconds. Then the MusicCAST server will go to System Off mode. (The "System Off mode" means all MusicCAST components are turning off.)
Note: If MusicCAST server is doing any recording or going to wake up within 1 minute using the timer, this operation is ignored.
