Q.

The clock on the MusicCAST client displays the incorrect time.

A.

The clock on the MusicCAST client, can't adjust itself. Adjust clock on the MusicCAST server, then the client's clock will follow automatically.


 

Q.

Sometimes my MusicCAST server's clock loses or gains.

A.

It is a good idea to set up a NTP server, if your MusicCAST is already connected to Internet.

  1. Select "System Setup" from "Top Menu".
  2. Select "Date/Time".
  3. Enable "Use NTP server" check box.
  4. Input NTP server URL, and set up Synchro. interval and Time zone.
Please ask your ISP service provider about an NTP server URL. (YAMAHA currently does not offer an NTP server.)


 

Q.

When I activate the "Daylight saving", the time seems to be off by a couple of hours.

A.

Please update your MusicCAST by "MusicCAST software Version Up Disc Vol.1" to solve this problem.
