This extensive 2-day course takes you through the essential PM1D Digital Audio Mixing System: hardware set up, software operation and hands-on mixing experience.
Then the best gets even better!! We will introduce the PM1D Version2 software. In this school, you’ll learn some of the new features
of PM1D that make the system more sophisticated yet easier to operate.

This two-day course focuses on the essentials of setting up and mixing on the PM1D Digital Audio Mixing System
- Introduction of the new software PM1D Version2
- System component descriptions, system setup examples
- Explanation of the CS1D control surface interface / all control and fader functions
- Cabling and interface examples and solutions
- Basic signal flow and routing from analog input to analog output:
- Patching Inputs to Channels
- Routing Inputs to Stereo Bus, to Mixes and to Matrices
- Patching and routing to onboard Effects, Dynamic Processors and Graphic Equalizers
- Scene Management
- Storing and Recalling Scene Memories
- Saving to and loading from a memory card
- Word Clock Basics
- Getting the MIX!
Utilizing 24 tracks of live audio at each console, students are guided through a hands-on tour from rider to mix… FOH, Monitor Wedges, In-ear Monitors and Aux Feeds
In order to maximize the PM1D School experience, the number of slots in each seminar is limited.
There is no cost for attending the PM1D School. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Travel and accommodations are the responsibility of the attendee.

Please note that applying for the PM1D school does not guarantee acceptance. The available slots fill quickly and we are not always able to accommodate an applicant's first choice of dates. Please indicate your first, second and third choices for school dates. We will do everything possible to accommodate your first choice. We will confirm which session is available as soon as possible by e-mail or telephone. Detailed session information will be provided when acceptance to the PM1D school is confirmed.

pm1dschool@yamaha.com. Failure to attend without at least 48-hour notice of the seminar date may prevent your acceptance in future classes.
