Yamaha Pianos Take the Stage at Summer Festivals Around the Country

Festivals offer a wealth of extraordinary performances

July represents one of the busiest months for Yamaha Artist Services New York, thanks in no small part to summer music festivals taking place around the country. In addition to the International Keyboard Institute and Festival (see separate story), highlights of this year’s season included the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival, the Eastern Music Festival, the Golandsky International Piano Festival, the Newport Music Festival, and the Washington International Piano Festival. Among the many exceptional performances were Jerome Rose, Marc-André Hamelin, and Alexander Kobrin at IKIF, Anne-Marie McDermott and Alessio Bax performing Poulenc with the Dallas Symphony at Vail, and André Watts, William Wolfram, and Awadagin Pratt at the Eastern Music Festival.
