Turning off Local Control
When using the keyboard with computer software, the instruction often suggest turning off 'Local Control'. To do this:

Press the [FUNCTION] button.
Press the [H] (MIDI) button.
Press the '8'
(Edit) button.
Select the System Tab with [BACK]/[NEXT] button.
Use the [A] or [B] button to highlight the top row (Local Control).NOTE: There are now seven selections across the bottom which turn the Local Control ''On'' or ''Off'' for Main, Layer, Left, etc.

Press the numbered [v] buttons to turn all options ''Off''.
Press the [EXIT] button once.
Press the [NEXT] button to select the ''User'' Tab.
Press the '6 [v] button to Save.
Name the new ''MIDI Template'' if necessary.
Press the [OK] button.
