S Series
Using a Microphone with an S90
A Microphone can be plugged into an S90 'A/D INPUT' jack (located on the back panel), in order to use an audio source, such as vocals, with the S90 internal effects, or a Yamaha Vocal Harmony Plug-in Board (PLG150VH).Setting the Input Level:

Press the [UTILITY] button.
Press the [F2] 'I/O' button.
Press the [SF1] 'INPUT' button.
Select 'mic' in the screen for the 'Mic/Line' setting.
Adjust the input level by speaking into the microphone while adjusting the 'GAIN' knob, located next to the 'A/D INPUT' jack.
Mixing the A/D Input with Internal S90 Voices:

Press the [SEQ PLAY] button.
Press the [F6] 'MIX' button.
Press the [F2] 'A/D' button.
Adjust the Volume of the A/D Input in the screen.
Press the [F3] 'VOICE'
button.
Press the [F1] 'VOL/PAN'
button. Adjust the Volume of the Individual Voice Parts.
Applying Effects to a Microphone:

From the screen mentioned above in Step 5, press the [F2] 'A/D' button.
The 'Rev Send', 'Cho Send', and 'Var Send' levels for the A/D Input correspond to the Reverb Level, Chorus Level, and Variation Effect Level respectively, and can be edited here.
NOTE: The S90 does not record audio.
